The following Privacy and Data Protection Policy has been established in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27th April, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter "GDPR").

Data Controller

Sociedade Agrícola Monte da Corça Nova, Lda., a private limited company, under the sole registry and tax identification number 510388647 and registered office at Argamassa, Monte da Corça Nova, Caixa Postal 6803, 7630-474 São Luís is responsible for the processing of personal data carried out, either with its owners or through its website, and can be contacted by email to mcnalentejo@gmail.com and by telefone to (+351) 91 24 22 24 3.

The personal data will be stored during the time necessary for the management of the reservation and stay of the customers, as well as for the provision of the other services available in the tourist accommodation establishment. After the rendered services have been concluded, the personal data collected will be kept for six (6) months. In the event the owner of personal data gives consent to receive marketing and/or commercial information, the personal data will be stored until said consent is revoked, which may occur at any time by exercising the right to revoke consent by the respective owner.

Purpose of data processing and legal basis

The collection and processing of personal data by Monte da Corça Nova is lawful because it results from the consent given by the respective owner, as well as the need for the performance of a contract to which the owner is party, under the terms of the provisions of a) and b), paragraph 1, Article 6 of the RGPD.

Consent for the collection and processing of personal data by a person/entity other than its owner is the responsibility of that person/entity, namely for the purposes of the provisions of paragraph f), no. 1 of art. 6 of the RGPD. 

In this regard, the collection and processing of personal data is aimed at managing the reservation and stay of customers, improving and customising the services provided in the tourist accommodation establishment, as well as sending marketing and/or commercial information, when so consented.

The personal data collected and processed by Sociedade Agrícola do Monte da Corça Nova, Lda. is intended solely for that entity in order to pursue the above-mentioned purposes within the scope of the development of its activity in the tourist accommodation establishment. 

Personal data collected and processed will not be transferred to a third country outside the EEA (European Economic Area) nor to any international organization.

The above does not preclude (i) the sharing of customers' personal data with the tourism accommodation establishment's employees in the context of the provision of requested services (Sociedade Agrícola do Monte da Corça Nova shall however ensure that said employees use the personal data appropriately, in compliance with this Privacy and Data Protection Policy); nor (ii) the sharing of personal data with administrative and judicial authorities in compliance with applicable legal obligations.

The personal data subjects may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, limitation of processing and also the right to oppose the processing and portability of personal data and to withdraw the consent given by sending an e-mail or via the postal service to the contact details on our booking website and on our invoices.

Owners of personal data also have the right to complain to the comissão Nacional de Protecção de Dados if they feel their rights are affected. 

Changes to the Privacy and Data Protection Policy

Sociedade Agrícola Monte da Corça Nova, Lda. may amend or update this Privacy and Data Protection Policy at any time, which shall be published at www.mcnalentejo.com.
